Wayne and Amie

June 17, 2012 , Engagement

I

I met Wayne and Amie nearly six years ago when I came to Nanton to meet my boyfriend’s (now husband’s) family. Fast forward to today and Wayne is my brother-in-law, Amie is my soon-to-be sister-in-law and they are auntie and uncle to our daughter. I have to put a plug in here…our daughter will also be their flower girl!

Wayne and Amie met at Olds College several years ago. You could not meet a couple better suited to each other. It’s like they just know instinctively how to complete each other’s lines and how to just be a partner to the other. Every family get-together is filled with laughs when these two are there. I am so lucky to call Wayne and Amie my family.

I was so excited when I was told where we would be doing their engagement photos. It’s an old western movie set west of Calgary. Unbelievable is the only word I have. We did as much sightseeing as we did photos. Westerns such as Unforgiven were shot at the set (featuring Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman). I can’t even begin to describe how authentic the buildings were. The scenery was second to none as well. We had perfect view of the Rocky Mountains.

I hope you enjoy this taste….
