I am a former television news anchor and newspaper editor. I still consider myself a journalist, telling a story through images. My favourite weddings are when a couple can laugh together. I enjoy people who love life, adventure and good food. I'm a ranch girl (and own our fourth-generation, 116-year-old ranch with my siblings), so country weddings are where I feel at home. Mountain weddings in Banff, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are where my heart is at. The mountains have always felt like home, and I'm so lucky that I get to photograph weddings in the most stunning place on earth.

One of life’s many treasures has always been the preservation of life’s precious moments. I look at what I do as more than just taking a quick snapshot. Being able to be a part of your day I not only get to celebrate with you but I also get to provide a means for you to cherish some of your most precious memories for lifetimes to come. Being able to truly capture the feelings and movements of the day will ensure that you will be able to reflect on the many emotions and joys of your special day! I have been involved in the wedding industry, photography specifically since I was about 12 years old. Having branched out on my own in the last few years I have grown an even greater passion for what I do. I am a small-town girl and have an avid love for anything equine related. I spent many years in 4-H and held the titles of both Miss Rodeo Sundre and Miss Ponoka Stampede. I am a sucker for home-cooked meals and love applesauce on my KD.

Hey! I’m Steph! I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Ontario, but just recently made the move to the gorgeous province of Alberta. I’ve been shooting professionally for just over 6 years now and have been blessed to meet so many amazing people along the way. I’m a huge sucker for a good sappy love story, and I think that’s why I have grown to have such a deep passion for wedding photography. A wedding day is such a special milestone, and to be able to capture such raw, genuine emotion and create memories for people, is one of my favourite things. When I’m not shooting, you can probably find me at the dog park with my pup Luna, or at home snuggling with my cats and binge-watching Netflix. I’m so excited to be working with Loree Photography as an associate and can’t wait to see who and what the coming years will bring me!

I'm a born and raised Calgarian, I love coffee, puppies and naps. I've always been drawn to photography because to me it's the perfect balance of technical skill and creativity. I believe an ideal image captures the convergence of light, emotion and composition. My goal is to explore the dynamics of natural light and build an image that visually describes the connection between a couple. Capturing beautiful moments that preserve the memories of your wedding day is something that I truly care about. I always appreciate the people I meet, the places I go, and the uniqueness of every wedding I shoot. There are only a few things in life to me that are certainly, without a doubt, what I was put here to be part of. My family. My love for the farm. My passion for capturing it ALL on camera.
Photography became my favourite past time as a young girl. I grew up nearly an hour from the nearest form of a town or city. Needless to say, options of what to do back then were as limited as my clients. I grew up photographing cattle, fence posts, and the family dog.
Fast forward to today. I am blessed to be capturing moments of people’s most important memories. The kind of moments, candid and real, that can bring a smile or tear to someone’s face, even years after they are taken. I enjoy keeping my sessions lighthearted and fun and loved watching each one take form into photos that will last forever.
