I first met Allana on the day that I photographed her big sister’s wedding in Calgary. I instantly loved her personality. She was smart, bubbly, fun and beautiful. How could you not adore her? Five years later, we’ve become friends and sat together on a Calgary Stampede committee. So, when she asked me to photograph her Punta Cana wedding at the Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic, I was ecstatic. Scott, her fiancé, is from London, England, so they chose the Dominican for their wedding because it was convenient for both families to travel to…and it was the perfect spot for a destination wedding. As a Punta Cana wedding photographer, I spent the morning scouting the stunning locations for photos at this beautiful Dominican Republic destination resort. Rain threatened to fall all day, but thankfully its ended up being beautiful. The entire week was incredible to spend with this fun group, and I’m so grateful they had me as part of it.
