Guinea Pig Wedding

When my daughter’s daycare (Daydreams and Sunbeans) announced am upcoming wedding for the pet guinea pigs – I of course had to offer my services as a wedding photographer. Hopper and Squiggles were full of love on their wedding day. The bride and groom chose a simple venue with their closest friends around them to celebrate their big day.
It was a low key start to the day. Hopper and Squiggles chose to spend time in their cage before getting ready…..
The bride wore a vintage gown while the groom, I believe, was wearing Armani. Vintage probably.
The ceremony was beautiful. The bride walked down the aisle to a chorus of “Here comes the bride….all dressed in white.” It was sung by all who attended. I’m pretty sure there were tears.
After the ceremony it was cake time. The cake cutting was hard to do because of the short arms of the bride and groom. They opted for a lettuce and carrot cake.
Mr and Mrs Squiggles (as they’ve formally been asked to be called) are now honeymooning in Papa New Guinea.
