Sometimes a day just comes together and it seems to be seamless. Jessilyn and Dan’s wedding day was like that, although for those that know – the planning and execution that came together were intricate, detailed and planned so incredibly – that the day couldn’t have been anything by perfect.

Jessilyn and Dan met at the Gerry Thomas Art Gallery and talked all night. Jessilyn then embarked on a six-month cross-Canada tour as a media relations specialist and Dan flew across Canada to meet up with her. They fell in love with each other’s passion, drive and ability to be silly. They were engaged at Bonterra, one of their favorite restaurants about three years later.

The wedding day began at a beautiful rented home that served as ground zero for the preparations. Make-up was provided by Krista Ho Lem. Hair was done by Kent Halliday, who seriously, is one of the most zen and amazing stylists I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

The ceremony took place at the stunning Hull’s Wood area of Fish Creek Park with reception that followed at the ambient The Lake House in Calgary.
