I first met Jessilyn nearly four years ago when she was a bridesmaid in a Nanton wedding I photographed. She had poise and impeccable taste back then…..and she hasn’t changed a bit! Today, she owns and manages a Calgary-based marketing, staffing and event managing company called Vuepointe Group. I was so thrilled when she asked me to be her Calgary engagement photographer.
Jessilyn met Dan about four years ago at an art gallery event in Calgary. I love watching him be with Jess. He looks at her like she’s the most beautiful person in the world. It was special to be able to photograph these two people as they combine their worlds into one family.
We met at the Olympic Plaza in Downtown Calgary for their engagement photos. It was the perfect day with new and fresh snow on the ground. Winter finally returned to our city! I LOVE their choice in outfits as well. They both looked amazing in their formal wear!
I am so excited to be their Calgary wedding photographer later this year and totally enjoyed being their Calgary engagement photographer this winter!
These are some of my most favorite engagement photos ever! I love the editorial style feel – these two could be in a magazine. The formal wear looks so great in the downtown Calgary images. And I absolutely love the the kissing shot with him tying her ice skates. Amazing.

They look like movie stars! I love the paparazzi style of the street shots at the start of the session. The fun, candid moments at the end of the session add a nice touch as well! Beautiful engagement photos. Calgary is lucky to have you.

I always LOVE formal attire in alleyways. Such great contrast. and the ice skating pictures are adorable. It shows such different sides of the couple!
