You know how when you meet someone, and you instantly want to be their friend? That’s how I felt when I met Rebekah and Jon over coffee in Okotoks. Jon’s family farms and ranches near Okotoks and Rebekah’s family immigrated to the area from Scotland. It’s a pretty cool mix. They both travelled in the same circles and had similar friends, but never met up until later in life.
Rebekah’s extended family are making the trek over from Scotland for their 2016 wedding. I think the funniest comment she made yesterday during their engagement session was that hopefully the wind dies down for the wedding day because kilts and wind gusts don’t exactly go well together 🙂
We met in Kananaskis Country for their engagement session. Their moms came as well (they are just the cutest) to help hold Paisley, their 6-month old puppy.
