Elbow Falls Engagement
I’ll let Angela and Mark tell their story…I still giggle when I think about it!
Mark and Angela met in a dark alley- literally!
It was late on a September evening in 2010, when the power went out in their neighbourhood. There were ambulances and fire trucks, and people wandering the streets. Angela’s roommate had to really convince her to go out to see what was happening, as she was very focused on finishing her assignment for school (by headlamp and laptop battery power). After finally being convinced to go on an “adventure”, Angela and her roommate headed down the dark streets to see what all the commotion was about… Mark was also out wandering the streets at the same time, and crossed the street to talk to Angela, who was in the alleyway. Mark was charming and flattering, and Angela casually inquired about Mark’s living situation, in which Mark replied, “just me and my fish”. They exchanged numbers and the rest is history!
We had the most wonderful evening in Kananaskis Country for their engagement session. The beautiful thing is that they got engaged while searching for their Christmas tree is nearby Bragg Creek…so the area has special meaning!
