Coutts Centre

I am so lucky that the Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage is right at my doorstep. I’ve been photographing at the property since it was a farm owned by the late Jim Coutts (over 10 years). I live in Nanton, about a five-minute drive from the property and it’s pretty incredible that such a stunning property is so close to me. Watching this little farm evolve into a wedding venue near Calgary has been pretty cool. Nanton weddings are always spectacular. Check out their website.

As a Nanton Photographer, I’ve had the chance to explore every nook and cranny of the property over the years. I know what areas are best in what light and what time of day. There are fun spots that I use when photographing families with little children. There are dramatic areas that I know how to use sunsets perfectly. We photograph engagements and family sessions, like Taryn and Tee Jay’s and Alanna and Kyle’s engagement sessions and family mini sessions in the fall. It is the perfect spot for ceremonies, with a rustic new events barn currently being built, it’s sure to be amazing for the 2020 weddings booked there.
