Funny Christmas Cards
This is the 6th year that I’ve photographed Steve McMaster’s Christmas card. It’s something that I look forward to every winter and this year, was a little more exciting! About a month before our shoot, Steve called me up and told me he bought a ring. I did a happy dance. Alyssa Briggs, his girlfriend, met him after she saw his 2015 card on the fridge of a friend. She said she had to meet this guy. The next year, she was on the card with him and it went viral. We had news crews in Nanton from CTV, Global and we were live on Breakfast Television. It was pretty cool. Funny Christmas Cards are one of the best ways to celebrate the holidays!
And….it seems it was meant to be! Alyssa said yes, and about 12 hours later we were shooting their 2018 Christmas card. FYI, Alyssa also owns a pretty wicked marketing company, Rundle Social Solutions 🙂
