Things I loved about Kim and Jon’s wedding……I loved that their oldest son stood between them as they said their vows (it wasn’t in the plan, he just did). I loved that the snow let up so that we could do photos outdoors in the amazing autumn colours. I loved that this wedding party was so fun and hilarious. Jon’s groomsmen, in particular, made me laugh all day. I loved that kids were covered in sticky chocolate fondue from their dessert and that they were getting down and dirty and breakdancing the night away. I loved a poem that was said in honour of Kim’s late mom. I loved that after several years together, Kim and Jon share one name and that they had an amazing group of family and friends with them on their wedding day.
I only just met Kim and Jon yesterday morning. They call Coronation home, but wanted to invite their people to enjoy Calgary and the Valley Ridge Golf Club for their special day. I’m a HUGE fan of Essence of Australia gowns, and loved Kim’s dress and her cathedral veil from the fashion house. Her shoes were stunning light blue with amazing gemstones. They were Badgley Mischka and we made sure to stay far away from the mud with them 🙂 She looked just beautiful.
